Swedish Cardamom Bread

Ingredients
4 cups whole wheat bread flour4-6 cups white flour1 tbsp salt1 cup sugar1 tbsp cardamom1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder2 tbsp yeast1/2 cup warm water1 1/2 cup warm water1/2 cup warm milk2 large eggs1 stick unsalted butter, melted
Directions
Mix the yeast with the 1/2 cup of warm water and set aside to soften. Combine the flours, salt, milk powder, and sugar in a large bowl. Stir in cardamom and set aside. In a separate large bowl, mix the eggs, butter, remaining water, and milk. Mix in the yeast when its ready. Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until it makes a ball. Kneed thoroughly. Cover and rise in a warm place until doubled in size. Punch down, cover and rise again until double in size. Shape into two loaves and bake in greased 9" loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes. OR shape into balls and bake in greased muffin tins for cardamom rolls.
