Caribbean Sweet Potato Crockpot Stew

Ingredients
2 med Sweet Potato7 chix thighs (skinless/boneless)3 Jennie-O italian sausage links1 med onion, chopped2 cloves garlic chopped1- 15 oz can whole tomatoes1- 15 oz can crushed tomatoes1-15 oz blackeye peas, drained1/2 tsp hot sause3/4 tsp salt blend1 tsp mixed herbs1 tsp cracked black pepper1/2 tsp allspice1/2 tsp cumin2 tbsp tomato pastefresh parsley or basil to garnish- optional
Directions
Cut potato 1/2-1" cubes. Cut chix and sausage 1'" pieces. combine all in crockpot(Veggis on bottom). Cover,simmer 4 hours until sweet pot tender and chix cooked. Garnish w/ parsley or basil.
