Cheesy Taco Pita Chips - Quick & Easy

- 1 Joseph's Flax, Oat Bran & Whole Wheat Pita Bread- Olive oil cooking spray- Spices of your choice. Recipe is basted on 1/4 tsp each of onion & garlic powders plus 1/8 tsp garlic salt & 1 tbl spoon of McCormick Cheesy Taco Seasoning Mix.
1. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a regular dinner plate & spray lightly with cooking spray.
2. Divide a single pita bread into 8 wedges (a pizza cutter works great for this) & tear wedges apart for 16 "chips" per pita.
3. Place 8 of the "chips" on the parchment paper/plate & spray lightly with cooking spray.
4. Sprinkle lightly with spices & microwave on high for 2 minutes, or until crisp.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 with the other chips.
Note: If you prefer to bake on an outdoor gas grill, set to direct low. Spread wedges on a cookie sheet. Prepare as above & bake for 6 Minutes.
Makes 1 16 chip serving.
