Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies, redone

Ingredients
1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1/2 Cup (one stick) unsalted butter, softened 1/2 Cup unsweetened applesauce3/4 cup granulated sugar3/4 cup brown sugar2 large eggs1 tsp vanilla extract3 cups quick oats3/4 cup whole wheat flour1/2 cup white flour1 bag (11oz) butterscotch morsels
Directions
In a mixing bowl, add the first 8 ingredients; beat until smooth. Mix in oats and flours. Stir morsels in by hand. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 7-10 minutes at 375 degrees.
