Ingredients
Directions
About 4 oz cooked weight Chicken (strips or breasts)One serving (about 3/4 cup dry) Macaroni Noodles3/4 cup frozen Broccoli1 tsp Wheat Flour2 tsp White Flour1/2 c 1% Milk1 tbsp Parmesan (the powdery kind)
Set out two pans - one large skillet and one pan for the noodles.
Put water for noodles in one pan and set to boil.
In the skillet, add chicken (use cooking spray if needed) and cook on medium-high heat.
Add broccoli to noodle pan. When water begins to boil, add noodles. (I used macaroni noodles, but you can use about 200 calories' worth of another kind of noodles.)
In a small bowl, mix both kinds of flour and milk. (You can use substitute one tbsp white or wheat if you want. I find it easiest to start by adding a tiny bit of milk to the flour to get all of the flour wet before adding the rest of the milk.)
When chicken is cooked through, remove pan from heat and chop chicken into bite-size pieces. Add pack to skillet on low heat with milk and flour mixture. Mix frequently with a fork or whisk. Add parmesan. When milk mixture begins to thicken, remove from heat.
When noodles are cooked through, drain noodles and broccoli and add to chicken mixture (I just used a slotted spoon). Enjoy!

Please take the "vegetarian" tag off this recipe. The last time I looked chicken is an animal . . . not a vegetable. - 8/28/11

Sorry about that - it was some kind of accident, I never meant to mislabel it!
