fruit & cocoa cake cookies

Ingredients
WET INGREDIENTS1 cup mashed banana1cup margarine, 40% fat2 cup apple juice1/2 tsp. vanilla extract1/2 cup raisinsDRY INGREDIENTS1/2 cup cocoa powder2.5 cup all purpose flour1.5 cup quick rolled oats1/2 tsp baking soda
Directions
*preheat oven 350 degrees
1) cook raisins in apple juice to make soft
2) while raisins are cooking, mix the wet ingredients in a very large bowl
3) mix the dry ingredients in another bowl
4) take raisins and apple juice off stove and put in blender; whiz until raisins are very small; mix with wet ingredients
5) mix dry with wet
6) drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets

bake in oven 8-10 minutes; they should be firm to the touch. Cool on wire racks. Makes 54 cookies.
