Paleo / Gluten-Free Broccoli Salad

8 cups (or 1.5 lbs) chopped Broccoli5 T bacon grease6 slices of chopped bacon2 T Red Wine Vinegar1/2 cup slivered almonds1/2 cup chopped tart apples (I used Granny Smith) You can also use craisins, but it adds about 20 calories more/serving
1. Chop all ingredients and place in mixing bowl
2. Warm bacon grease and red wine vinegar in small bowl
3. Pour warmed mixture over other ingredients and toss.
4. Serve room temp or chilled.
