Nearly Fat Free Maple Almond Granola

Ingredients
3 1/2 C rolled oats2 C puffed kamut1 tsp ground cinnamon3/4 tsp salt1/3 C light brown sugar, lightly packed1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce1/2 cup sugar free maple syrup1 tsp vanilla3/4 C sliced almonds
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment or a silicon mat.
In a large bowl, combine oats, kamut, cinnamon & salt. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, applesauce, syrup and vanilla. Pour brown sugar mixture onto oat mixture and mix well. Stir in almonds.
Spread mixture onto a baking sheet and bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and flip with a spatula. Bake another 10 minutes and allow to cool completely before transferring to an air-tight container.
