CRUST:1.5 cups flour .5 cups sugar 1 egg yolk 1 T. lemon rind.5 cups butterFILLING:500 grams quark4 egg yolks.75 cups sugar2 tsp. vanilla5 beaten egg whites
Using a medium sized springform pan, mix up the ingredients for the crust, cutting in the butter and press to the bottom and sides of the pan.
Mix the batter for the filling and fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour into the pan and bake at 350 degrees F. for 50 to 60 minutes or until firm and knife comes out reasonably clean.
