Spicy Garbanzo, Quinoa and Yam Veggie Burger

* Yams, 1 1/4 cups * Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) 15 oz can * Quinoa 1/2 cup * Ground flax seed 2 tbsp * Whole Wheat Flour - 2 tsp cup * Carrots 1/2 cup, chopped * Garlic, 3 cloves * Onions, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped * Parsley, 1 tbsp * Cumin seed, 1 tbsp * Curry powder, 1 tbsp * Paprika, 1/2 tsp * Pepper, black, 1/2 tsp * Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp * Salt, 1 dash * Olive Oil, 2 tsp
- drain and rinse 15 oz can of chickpeas
- cook quinoa
- microwave yam for ~5 mins until soft
- sautee carrots and onion until soft
- throw all in food processor and blend
- clean hands, make burgers
- oil sheet, preheat oven to 375. Cook and flip to make both sides crispy (~5-7 mins each side)
Serving Size: Makes 8 2.5 inch patties
