cheap flour tortillas

Ingredients
2.5 cups flour1 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt3tbsp oil1 cup warm waterextra flour for rolling
Directions
combine dry ingredients in a bowl, add oil then slowly add water. Knead (or do in bowl with dough arm) till a nice soft dough then roll in gladwrap and leave to rest on bench. ( I do mine in the afternoon about 2hours before I want them)

Divide mixture into 10-12 then roll out on floured board until nice and round then cook quickly in very hot oiled pan,turn when they bubble and cook other side. Once cooked put between a damp teatowl with tin foil on out side to keep heat in, this will keep the warm and moist.


These are very nice filled with salads and hummus or even as a side with soup, or with minces and stews. A family favourite
