Apple Cake

Ingredients
Bowl 13 cups flour2 ½ cups white sugar½ tsp. salt3 tsp. baking powder Bowl 2Peel and slice 4 large or 5 small apples and sprinkle 4 tsp. cinnamon, 5 tsp. brown sugar over and mix all. (Peaches also work well) Bowl 34 eggs beaten1 cup vegetable oil½ cup orange or apple juice2 ½ tsp vanilla
Directions
1. Mix Bowl 3 ingredients, and pour into Bowl 1.

2. Grease pan.

3. Pour batter (one layer – very thin).

4. Spread apples.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4

**Use angel food pan or bundt pan and make batter the first and last layer.



Bake for 1 hr 45 mins – 2 hrs.

If the top is cooking too fast, put tin foil on top.

I make a glaze of icing sugar, butter and milk to drizzle over the top.
