Squash Casserole, An "Old Southern Favorite"

Ingredients
5 Med Yellow Squash, sliced rings1 Med Onion, diced1 Egg, beat1 Oz. Cheddar Cheese5 Saltine crackers, crumbled
Directions
Saute onions until clear (4 mins)
Add squash, saute till tender (4 mins)
Sift veggies from pan into 8x8 pyrex
Melt cheese into au jus left in pot
Stir in crackers
Add egg
Quickly pour evenly over veggies
Bake 350 approx 10 mins. until slightly browned
