2(.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast 1/2 cup warm water (110-115 degrees F)2 cups cubed butternut squash (cooked& mashed)1 cup warm milk (110-115 degrees f)1/3 cup of butter or margarine melted2 eggs, beaten1/3 cup brown sugar1 tsp. salt6.5 cups all purpose flour1/2 cup ground flax seedIm a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast & let stand for 5 minutes.Add squash milk,eggs, butter,sugar and salt:mix well.Gradually add 3 1/2 cups flour,beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Turn onto a floured surface & knead until smooth and elastic(about 8 minutes).Place in a greased bowl,turning once to grease top.Cover & let rise in a warm place until doubled (about an hour)Punch dough down. Shape into 3 loaves; place in 8 in.x 4in. x 2in. loaf pans.Cover and let rise until doubled ( about 30 mins.)Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 25-30 minutes or until tops are golden.Remove from pans to cool on wire racks.
