Simple Slow Cooker Beef Stew

1-2 lbs cubed beef, stew meat1 large onion, chopped1-2 cups baby carrots6-10 small red potatoes, chopped1 tbsp crumbled bay leaf1 tbsp paprika1 tsp salt1tsp black pepper1 1/4 cup white flour1 1/4 cup beef broth1 cup water
Chop vegetables and set aside.
Put beef into the slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Mix. Stir flour mixture into beef in the slow cooker, coating meat thoroughly.
Add vegetables, water, broth, and remaining spices. Stir.
Cook in slow cooker on High for 4-6 hours, or on Low for 10-12 hours.
Serving Size: makes 8 1-cup servings
