Ingredients
Directions
Dry ingredients: 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal1.5 cups Whole Wheat Flour1 cup Old Fashioned Oatmeal .5 tsp Salt4 tsp Baking Powder2 tsp Granulated Sugar (raw sugar works well, too)Wet ingredients:4 tsp. vegetable/canola oil4 eggs2.5 cups nonfat milk (may need more to adjust batter)
Mix dry ingredients well.
Add wet ingredients to the dry and mix. Add more milk if you like a thinner batter.
I like to let the batter sit for a few minutes before I cook them, so they can raise a little better on the skillet.
Feel free to add fun ingredients like fruit or chocolate chips. Adjust ingredients to your preferences.
Serving Size: Makes 12 large pancakes
