1 cup All Bran cereal1 cup chopped dates1 cup water1 cup oatmeal1 cup whole wheat flour3/4 cup sugar1t salt1t baking soda1 cup buttermilkcombine dates and water in saucepan. bring to boil and simmer 5 minsstir dry ingredients (except baking soda)add 1t baking soda to buttermilkadd drained dates
bake at 350 for 1 hour in large loaf pan or muffin tins (decrease cook time)
