1kg Beef Mince250gm sliced onions100gm garlic75gm ginger200gm channa dal1 tablespoon crushed red chilliesSalt to taste1 tablespoon cumin3 sticks cinnamon10 cloves20 black peppercorns3 bay leaves4 moti elaichi (black cardamom)3 cups water1 slice bread, made into breadcrumb1 egg
Put beef mince, sliced onions, peeled garlic cloves, sliced ginger and washed channa dal in a cooking pot. Add the crushed red chillies and salt. Tie the next 6 ingredients in a muslin square and add to the pot. Top up with water and cook over medium heat until the channa dal is soft and the water is dried up. Cook the mince over medium high heat until the mixture is pasty and quite dry. Let cool a little and stir in the bread and raw egg. Grind the mixture into a fine paste in a food processor. Make 24 patties. Fry in an almost dry pan to brown on each side and serve.
