Arroz con Leche( Rice with milk pudding) very delicious, Venezuelan Style

Ingredients
Directions
1 cup white long grain rice2 cups water7 cups milk( you can use soymilk, it tastes awesome)2 cinnamon sticks 5 cm each stick2 cups sugar(you can use a substitute instead)1/2 tsp salt1 tsp vanilla( is optional,included in counter)Ground cinnamon to sprinkle
-Wash the rice in flowing water until water comes out clear.
2. In a heavy pot put the water and the rice, bring it to boil and stir for 7 min while cooking until it starts to soften and the water has almost evaporeted completly.
3.Add milk and the cinnamon Sticks, bring it to boil and then to medium fire for 15 to 16 minutes until rice soften even more stiring with frequency with a wood spoon
4.Ad sugar and cook for another 30 minutes.Add the salt and cook for 1 or 2 more minutes stiring with frequency( is like a risotto)
5. take it away from the fire and pour in a glass flat mold, sprinkle some ground cinnamon on the top(at taste, not counted in the calorie calculator).
Is served Warm or ambient temperature.
Yields: depending on how deep is the mold and how big, but i calculated 20 servings.
A nice way to present it is to put them in individual glasses and srinkle some ground cinnamon on the top.
