Tomato Sauce, 3/4 cup Lentils, 1 cup365 everyday mild salsa, 1/4 cupMs. Dash Original or any other salt-free seasoning, 1 tbspchopped Scallions or onions, 2 tbsp Onion Powder, 1 tsp Ground Cayenne Pepper , 1 tsp Black Pepper, 1 tsp
1. Set 1 cup of water or broth to boil
2. Measure out 1/2 cup lentils and add to boiling water. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Reduce to lowest heat setting. Let cook for 40 minutes or until tender.
3. Combine the other ingredients in a large pot on medium heat. Let heat for about 5 minutes.
4. Mix lentils into the tomato sauce.
5. Enjoy with whole grain pasta
