Ingredients
Directions
Bread, mixed-grain (includes whole-grain, 7-grain), 10 oz (remove)Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), .25 cup (remove)Milk, nonfat, .25 cup (remove)Parkay, Light Stick Margarine, 1 Tbsp, 2 serving (remove)Oregano, ground, .5 tbsp (remove)Parsley, dried, 1 tbsp (remove)Garlic powder, .5 tbsp (remove)
Dice onions & celery. Melt margarine in pan. Add diced vegetables. Season with sea salt or salt sense and grinder pepper. Cook the vegetables until soft.
Break up the bread -- no matter if new bread or a few days old. Add egg substitute and milk and mix. The best way is by hand so that it is really mixed up. Add the vegetable mix that has cooled slightly so you don't burn your hand and mix again.
Place in a pam sprayed bread pan and bake for 30 or so minutes at 350 degrees. We like it done so that it has browned on top.
Makes 10 side servings.
