Ingredients
Directions
1.5 lbs flank steak¼ cup low sodium soy sauce1 tsp splenda (or less... to taste)1 tbsp sesame oil1 tbsp lime juice4 cloves garlic, minced1 tbsp ginger, minced1 tsp asian chili sauce1 tsp ground black pepper.
Trim fat from steak. Score meat in a diamond pattern.
Mix rest of ingredients together. Place meat and liquid in a large Ziploc and remove air. Put in fridge for at least 6 hours but no more than 24 hours. Flip a couple of times without obsessing.
Remove from fridge.
Preheat BBQ to High.
Place flank on hot grill and reduce to Medium. Grilll 5 minutes, flip, grill another 5 minutes. Remove from grill and tent for 3 to 5 minutes. Carve against the grain of the meat into thin-ish slices (about ½ cm).
If you want to be fancy, you can save the rest of the marinade (the stuff that the meat was sitting in) and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour marinade over sliced meat.
Makes 6 servings.
Enjoy.

Sounds yummy! I substituted the splender for honey and used lemon juice instead of lime juice and dry chili powder because it is what I had on hand.... Hopefully it will be as good as it smells! It's marinating in the frige and we will be having this when my hubby gets home from work!!!!!!!! - 12/4/11
