Ingredients
Water, 1 1/4 cupHoney, 1/4 cupOlive Oil, 1/4 cupWhole Wheat Flour, 2 cupsBread Flour, 1 cupSalt, 1 tspActive Dry Yeast, 1 1/2 tsp
Directions
Each manufacturer has specific instructions for their specific type, but for my bread machine the water, honey, and olive oil need to be 110 degrees, then put in the bottom. Next, thoroughly mix the flours and salt, and place on top of the liquids in the bread machine so you can't see the liquids. Then, dig out a hole large enough for the yeast and add. You can be adventurous and add fruits and nuts to the flour mixture if you desire (cranberries and almonds are delicious in this recipe, for example).

I never let the bread machine do the cooking because it turns out to be a really heavy loaf of bread if I do. Therefore, I use the dough setting on my machine and when it's finished (60 minutes or so), put it in a sprayed loaf pan, cover it for 30 minutes until it rises some more (or overnight works too) and then bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes (you can experiement with how long you like to bake it, some people like it more, some less).

This makes 12 servings, roughly 1/2" thick - if you take it out of the bread machine. Another option is to take it out of the bread machine and roll it into 12 balls, placing them into a 9 x 13 baking pan, and make dinner rolls out of the dough....either way, both were a huge hit with my family!

Serving Size: Makes 12 1/2" thick pieces of bread
