Riz-be-Adees

Ingredients
4 C water1 tsp salt1 C lentils1 C jasmine rice1 onion, sliced3-4 TBSP olive oil
Directions
Bring water and salt to a boil in saucepan. Add lentils and cover. Simmer 20 minutes or until just about tender. Add rice, cover and cook an additional 15-20 or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. Meanwhile, saute sliced onions in olive oil. Add sauteed onions to lentil/rice mixture just before serving.
