2 1/2 cups luke warm water2 Tbsp packed brown sugar2 tsp salt2 Tbsp active dry yeast1/3 cup oil3-4 cups whole wheat flour2-3 cups white flour
Mix together water, salt, brown sugar, and yeast. Let sit for ten minutes until yeast is dissolved. Add oil, and gradually add flour mixing completely after each addition. Knead for ten minutes.
Spray bowl with oil, and place dough in it to rise for 30 min. Punch down, and knead it a few times. Cut it in half and roll it out on a flat surface. Form into loaves and place in greased loaf pans to rise another 30 minutes. When risen, bake 30 minutes at 350. Do not preheat oven. Dump out of pans and cool on a wire rack. Store in plastic bags. Makes 2 loaves.
