Vegan Mocha Raspberry Cake

2 cups whole wheat flour1 cup flour¾ cups sugar2 tsp baking soda½ cup cocoa¼ cup applesauce1 ½ tsp vanilla2 tbsp vinegar dissolved in ¼ cup water¾ cup brewed espresso¾ cup raspberry puree
Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda and cocoa in a large mixing bowl.
Slowly incorporate applesauce and vanilla, and then vinegar in water, coffee and raspberry puree.
Pour into greased and battered cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until done.
Allow to cool before frosting.
