Peas Dhal

Ingredients
Peas, frozen, 1.5 package (10 oz) (remove) *Peanut Oil, 1 tbsp (remove) Onions, raw, .3 cup, chopped (remove) Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove) *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp (remove) Mustard seed, yellow, 1 tbsp (remove) *Ground tumeric, 1 tbsp (remove) Jalapeno Peppers, .5 pepper (remove) Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
Directions
In pan heat oil and spices until mustard seeds start to pop.

Add onions and hot pepper...sautee.

Add tomato and 3/4 of peas stir.

In blender add remaining peas with some hot water...blend into a paste. Add paste to pan.

Continue cooking until peas are cooked and some of the water boils off. Should have a slight watery texture.

Add salt and serve.
