Daniel Fast Wholewheat Sesame Crackers
- Number of Servings: 32
Ingredients
Directions
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour1/4 cup rice flour (brown)1/4 cup sesame seeds1/4 cup oil1tsp sea salt1/2 cup water
Mix the two flours, sesame seeds and half the salt in a bowl.
Mix in the oil and then enough water to make a pastry like dough.
roll out as thin as you can.
I roll it on a sheet of baking parchment. I then transfer to a baking sheet, still on the parchment.
Brush or spray lightly with water or oil and sprinkle with the remaining salt. I then use the rolling pin to press the salt into the surface.
Bake at 400f (200c) for roughly 12 minutes, or until crisp. The time it takes to get crisp will depend on how thinly you have rolled it. Keep a close eye on it while it is in the oven.
Cool on racks and break into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
Serving Size: 32 10gram pieces (320grams total)
