Ingredients
Directions
1 12 oz package of semi-sweet chocolate chips2 1/2 tbsp margarine5 large bananas10 popsicle sticks
1. Cut bananas in half and insert one popsicle stick in each one. Lay bananas on a lined cookie sheet (wax or parchment paper) and put in freezer for 1 hour.
2. After that hour, begin melting chocolate chips and butter. I use a double boiler.
3. When melted, dip each banana in chocolate and return to cookie sheet. Freeze bananas for another hour.
You can individually wrap the bananas in plastic after they are frozen again to keep better. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
Tip: After dipping in the chocolate you can roll the bananas in a plate sprinkles or little candies. (Calories in this recipe do not include sprinkles).
