- Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
Directions
1, 15 oz. can chickpeas1/2 tbsp Tahini paste2 tsp Garlic1/4 - 1/2 cup cooked spinach2 individual artichoke hearts, cooked (canned)1/2 tsp ground cumin
Drain chickpeas and set aside the liquid. Add all other ingredients to food processor. Adding small increments of the reserved chickpea liquid, blend until smooth. Adjust garlic, cumin, or artichoke hearts to taste.
Getting the hummus completely smooth can be a bit difficult or time-consuming, but if you're putting it on something crunchy, you probably won't notice a few lumps anyway. Just keep blending it, or use a seive to get out any lumps or skins.
Serve room-temperature or cold with veggies, pita bread, pita chips, or get creative.
