Whole Wheat and Wheat Germ Muffins with Cranberries and Chocolate

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup wheat germ1/2 cup sugar4 tsp baking powder1 egg3/4 cup milk3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce1/4 cup dried cranberries1/4 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Spray non-stick muffin tins with cooking oil.
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry, stirring gently just to mix. Add the cranberries and chocolate chips.
Divide the batter amongst 12 muffin cups. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until top springs back when pressed.
