summer crab and corn soup

Ingredients
1 quart chicken broth1 can (14.5) diced tomatoes2 teaspoons veg. oil1 medium onion1 tablespoon old bay12 ounces crabmeat1 yellow pepper medium1 carrot medium8 ounces of green beans8 ounces of potaoes8 ounces of corn 1/2 cup basil fresh
Directions
heat oil in dutch oven and saute until soft. add dried herbs and saute until fragrant. add meat or poultry vegs and starch with hot broth mixture. bring to simmer and simmer for 20 mins. stir in fresh herbs and other seasonings (fish) and cook for 5 mins
