*chick peas (garbanzo cooked from 1/4 c.raw beans), 1.5 cup Cinnamon, ground, 2 tbsp *Sugar In The Raw, 4 tspOlive Oil, 1.5 1tsp
The key to making these is like I said on the other pan roasted recipe - patience!!
first, add just enough Olive Oil to very lightly coat a large cast iron pan. (not quite a tablespoon) Heat pan on medium and add Beans (make sure they're dry). Stir to coat with Oil and season liberally with cinnamon. Let sit for 5 min. Stir.
Sit for 2-3 min, coat again with cinnamon. stir. Sit for 2-3 min. They’re done when they start to pop, but I haven't seen that happen yet. I guess I need more patience!! Your kids will love these. kind of like cinnamon toast crunch... lol
