Baked Pasta With Chicken

Ingredients
8 cups of dry pasta (fusili or penne work well)1/3 cup olive oil1 can diced tomatoes (approx. 1.5 cups)1/2 cup crushed tomatoesbasil, oregano, salt, pepper to taste8 chicken pieces, skinless and boneless
Directions
Place dry pasta in a deep casserole dish and pour in olive oil. Mix to coat pasta. Add crushed and diced tomatoes and mix. Add enough water to be level with the pasta in the dish. Add seasonings and mix.

If you are adding chicken pieces, place them on top of the pasta. Cover with the casserole lid, or use aluminum foil if you do not have a lid.

Bake for 30 minutes, then mix (so that the pasta does not stick and to see if it needs a little more water). Bake for another 30 minutes until pasta (and chicken if you added some) is done. The dish should be saucy, but not watery.

Enjoy with a side green salad (add your own calories)
