Super Easy Chicken "Chili"

1 can black beans (I like Bush's or Ranch Style)1 can diced tomatoes6 oz. cooked chicken breast (grilled works well)garlic powdersalt and pepper1/3 cup shredded colby jack cheese
Mix together the beans, tomatoes, and chicken. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. (You won't need much, if any, salt unless you use low-sodium beans and tomatoes.) Let the mixture simmer a few minutes until it's well heated through and the flavors mix. I like to let the beans cook a little longer. If you like a thinner soup, add some water. Serve topped with the cheese. This recipe makes 2 hearty-sized servings.
