PA. Dutch bacon dressing

Ingredients
3 TBsp. diced onions6 Tbsp. bacon fat, (i know it says butter up above, but there was no listing for bacon fat in the calculator)3Tbsp white flour2Tbsp white vinegar or cider vinegarSalt and pepper to taste! C water4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Directions
Melt bacon fat in a heavy saucepan; add onions and cook until wilted; add flour and stir, then add vinegar and salt and perrper to taste. Cook until warm; then gradually add in 1 C of water, stirring constantly. allow to cool. Add crumbled bacon and mix thoroughly.

Makes 12 2-Tbsp servings.
