Ingredients
Directions
1 lb Beef, ground1 lb Turkey, ground.5lb Onion, Chopped3 oz Garlic, Chopped4 oz Tomatoes, Chopped Plum2 Cans 10 oz Cans of Rotel Original Diced Green Chilies & Tomatoes2 Tbsps Cumin, Ground2 Tbsp Chili Powder, Hot
1. In a large heat proof pot, brown the Ground Beef & Ground Turkey Breast.
2. After browning the meats, add the chopped Onions, Garlic, Tomatoes, and Canned Rotel, mix well and then cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Add the ground Cumin and Chili Powder, mixing well.
4. Bring to a boil, turn down to low simmer and cook for another 2 hours.
I like my chili hot, so use heavy duty hot chili powder. So adjust the amount and type of chili powder according to your preferences. There is no added salt because the canned Rotel and Tomatoes have salt. Taste chili to see if you want added salt.
