Apple Crisp (gluten free)

Ingredients
5 large apples, (peeled, cored and sliced)1 tbsp. lemon juice1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon1/4 tsp ground allspice (optional)3/4 cup GEMS flour (or use 3/4 cup brown rice flour)3/4 cup gluten free quick oats1/4 cup soft butter
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 deegrees F. Lightly grease 8 by 8 inch pan.
2. Place apples in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice. Blend 1/4 cup of the sugar with cinnamon and allspice, tossing to coat. Arrange apples in prepared pan.
3. In small bowl combine the remaining sugar with the flour, oats and butter. Work through fingertips until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
4. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or cold.

Serving Size: Makes one 8 by 8 inch pan (10 servings)
