Hearty Lentil Soup, 65 calories a serving

Ingredients
5 or so baby carrots1/2 a large tomato, peeled1/2 a celery stalkclove of garlic1/4 C cooked black beansvery small yellow onion, maybe .25 C chopped4 C water1/2 C red or french lentils (available at WinCo and Good Earth)1/3 C regular lentils2 t beef bouillon granulescrack of pepper, dash of salt if wanted
Directions
In a 4 C capacity food processor, puree the carrots, tomato, celery, garlic, black beans and yellow onion. Add the pureed mixture to 4 C water in a pot and stir. Bring to a boil.

Add the lentils, bouillon granules and cracked pepper. Stir and return to a boil. Turn heat down to low and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes.

Delish!!! Makes 6 one-cup servings.
