Take away the sugar and water and I'd say incredible, cause that's how mine turns out - I fill a slow cooker with a variety of tart and sweet apples and lots of cinnamon and wait mashing down periodically. I freeze it and share it with the kids. I love to add it to baking and oatmeal! - 9/30/11

I have applesauce making on my stove right now! I don't add water or sugar, and usually not cinnamon either, and my extended family loves it. - 9/29/11

I'm DEFINATELY going to try this! But, I wonder if I can replace the sugar with real maple syrup! That might taste just TOO wonderful! - 9/29/11
