cheese grits

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups skim milk2 cups waterpinch of salt3/4 cup quaker grits1/2 cup shredded colby jack cheese1 tbsp unslated buttersalt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Bring milk, water and pinch of salt to a boil over medium high heat.
2. Stir in grits and stir constanly until all liquid is absorbed. (approx 20 minutes)
3. Stir in cheese and butter. Season to taste.
