Cinnomon Chip Waffles

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:1 c All Purpose Flour1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour1/8 c Milled Flax Seed1/8 c Wheat Bran1/2 c Splenda Granulated no calorie sweetener1 t Baking Soda1 t Baking Powder1/2 c Hershey's Cinnamon Chips1/2 t cinnamon1/4 t nutmeg1/2 t vanilla bean powder (optional)Wet Ingredients:1 1/2 - 1 3/4 c water1/2 c Egg Beaters1/2 c Unsweetened Applesauce1/4 c Oikos Greek Yogurt, non-fat1 T lemon Juice1 t Vanilla Extract1/2 t Vanilla butternut flavoring (optional)
Directions
Pre-heat a Belgium Waffle Maker, Flip Style, automatic setting 4-5.

In a medium sized bowl sift Baking Soda and Baking Powder together over remaining dry ingredients. Stir with whisk to add air and distribute chips.

In a small bowl, blend 1 c of water to egg beaters, applesauce, yogurt and flavorings. Stir to blend well then add lemon juice. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until well mixed. Add enough of the remaining water to make batter the consistency of thin cake batter.

Spray Waffle Maker with butter flavored Pam and ladle 1/4 - 1/3 c of batter into waffle maker (depends on the size of waffle maker). Don't add too much or batter with overflow waffle maker.

Cook using automatic settings or 3-5 minutes depending on how crispy you like your waffles.

Serving Size: makes 6 6 inch waffles, belgium style
