Santa's Favorite Cookie

Ingredients
1/2 cup soft Butter 1 cup Sugar 2 Eggs well beaten2 1/2 sifted Flour 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon Salt3/4 teaspoon Nutmeg 1 tablespoon Milk
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs before adding to butter and sugar. Add eggs, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and milk. Mix well. If the mixture is dry add an additional amount of milk. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours. Spread dough on a floured counter top or cutting board and spread until it's about 1/3 inch thick with a rolling pin. Use Christmas cutouts and bake at 325 for 8 minutes. Decorate cookies with frosting of your choice. I use powdered sugar with a little bit of water. Makes a light sugary finish to a delicious cookie. Enjoy : )
