Turkey Cassarol

5-6 cups of diced turkey (leftover from thanksgiving.)6 medium Potatoes1-2 cup of Cheese1 cup carrots1 med onion1 tblsp butter (heaping)1 tsp pepper ( a dash or 2)2 tblsp basil ( couple dashes.....)200 ml of milk ( 2/3 cup)2 large eggs.A cassarole dish (i had to borrow neighbors.)
Dice up your turkey, carrots onion and 1 potatoe, with a large frying pan simmer. slice remaining potatoes thinly to cover bottom of 9" x 15" (approx) cassarole dish, and save some for the top layer.
Make sure you stir the simmering turkey mix, adding in pepper, basil, and a table spoon of butter.
Wisk the Egg and milk in a container for use later.
After the turkey has simmered for about 15 minutes, cover the potatoes on the bottom with the egg/ milk mixture, then add the turkey, finally covering the turkey with the remaining potatoe, last add grated the cheese over top of the whole dish.
Oven Directions: set to bake for 350.
cover the dish with foil bake for 35 minutes then remove foil.
set oven to broil, continue until cheese goldens.
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
