Tomato and Meat Sauce

Ingredients
8 oz Ground Beef28 oz Tomato, crushed, canned2 oz Onion, chopped, medium dice2 oz Green pepper, chopped, medium dice½ Tsp Salt, kosher (optional)½ Tsp Black pepper (optional)½ Tsp Garlic powder¼ Tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)1 oz Red Wine (Cabernet Sauvignon)
Directions
Mix ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder
Brown ground beef mix in saute pan, separate into small pieces as you saute
Separate GB mix and fat into separate bowl
* Pour off fat, save the dripping (not fat) for added flavor
Saute onion, green pepper in SUC until light brown
Add red wine, reduce until almost dry
Add GB mix
Add crushed tomato (and some saved dripping, optional), simmer
(Add more salt and pepper to taste, this will reduce sweet taste of tomato)
Add cayenne pepper (optional)
Serve warm over pasta
