Ingredients
Cake1 stick butter, 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar, 2 large eggs, 2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 cup sour cream(you can use light and it tastes just as good), tsp vanilla extract, 2 cups peeled, cored and chopped applesCrumb topping1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 4tbs butter, 1 tbs cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray glass 13x9 pan with Pam or use butter.
In a large bowl cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, then add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. In a different bowl sift together the dry ingredients. Then alternate adding to egg/butter mixture the dry ingredients with the sour cream and vanilla. Start and end with dry ingredients. Fold in apples. Put in the pan and spread to the edges.
To make crumb topping but crumb ingredients in a small bowl and "squish" together until it looks like peas. It won't be all absorbed by the butter, it is ok. Put the crumb topping on the cake and bake until a tester comes out clean.Cook time may vary with your oven
