5 cups all-purpose flour3 large eggs1 c. cold water8 cups potato flakes2 tbspn unsalted butter4 cups sauerkrautSalt and pepper to taste
Prepare flour, eggs and cold water into egg noodle dough. Recipe may be found on any cooking website.
Prepare instant mashed potatoes and combine with salt and pepper, sauerkraut and butter. Heat thoroughly.
Fill egg noodle dough with large tablespoon of potato mixture, seal and boil until pierogie floats for 1 minute. Serve immediately with butter and salt and pepper, or fry in olive oil and serve with sour cream.
