Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients
1 lb. canned pumpkin3 tbls. butter1/2 c. chopped onion1/2 c. chopped celery1/2 c. chopped carrots1 garlic clove, chopped3 c. chicken stock1 c. canned tomotoes1/4 tsp. dried red pepper flakes1/4 tsp. white pepper1/8 tsp. nutmeg2 c. half/half
Directions
Saute the vegetables in the melted butter. Add the tomoatoes, stock, and pumpkin. Season with peppers and nutmeg. Cook for 1 hour. Let cool slightly, and then puree in your food processor until very, very smooth. Add the half/half and heat through.
