5 Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 can kidney beans1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)1 can navy beans1 can pinto beans1 can black beans1 can whole kernel corn1 medium onion, chopped3 cloves garlic, choppedsalt, pepper to taste8 cups (or so) of water (or stock)
Directions
In a soup pot, sautée onions and garlic until onions are translucent. Add other ingredients. (You can drain beans if you wish.) Cover and let come to boil. Reduce heat to medium and let simmer for about 20 minutes.

Makes about 12 1-cup servings.
