Add to brown sugar and margarine and mix till all crumbly. Add 4 Tablespoons of water and tumble mixture with a fork or spoon. This is the tricky part. feel the mixture with your hands. You want it to just hang together. If you need more moisture then add 1 Tablespoon of water at a time. Divide crumbly mix in half. Press half into the bottom of a Jelly Roll pan 11"x16". Prepare filling: Use 1/4 cup water or berry juice and place in a small bowl. Add cornstarch, stir until dissolved. Add berries and sugar and mix well. Place over high heat and stir constantly until the mixture boils and thickens. Watch closely as you don't want to scorch or burn.
Pour hot, thickened mix over the crumble mix pressed in pan. Spread over all, evenly to edges of pan. Spread remaining crumble mixture evenly over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
